Dr. Fraser received a Bachelor of Arts from American
International College in 1965. He then attended St. Louis University and
received a Doctorate of Medicine in 1969. He spent two years in
surgical residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and
finished his 3 years of surgical training in urology at the Mayo Clinic,
in Rochester, Minnesota, graduating in 1974. He was Chief of Urology at
Munson Army Hospital in FT Leavenworth, Kansas for the next two years.
He entered private practice in urology in 1976 in New London, CT, and
has been on the active staff at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital since
then. He has been a consultant to the U. S. Coast Guard and the U.S.
Naval Hospital in Groton, CT. Dr. Fraser has served the Lawrence &
Memorial Hospital as the Chief of Urology, President of the Medical
Staff and as a director on the hospital Board for 10 years. Dr. Fraser
has special interest in prostate diseases, kidney stones, pediatric
urology and urinary infections. He is Board Certified in Urology and is a
member of the American Urologic Association, The American College of
Surgeons and the Yale Society of Genitourinary Surgeons.
